It was always intended to publish Loft's findings in a formal report but sadly in the absence of a prehistoric pottery specialist report and the passage of so many years the prospect of a final report seems unlikely. With hindsight I think the separate publication of certain Loft's discoveries would have been more appropriate and so here I would like to focus on these and explain why I think they may be useful to others.
