This disc or USB stick contains a complete data archive of a Maldon Archaeological Group rescue project, which began in 1978. Many of the discoveries are yet to be formally published, making the survival of these records even more important. A new section has been added to highlight features of particular note and likely of most interest to others.

This section holds a complete presentation of all the raw site data including scans of all site notebook pages, all slide photographs, all site drawings along with copies of all site interim reports.

Essentially this provides a higher resolution scan of the site notebooks.

Highlighted Features
This section focuses on discoveries I believe to be of particular interest and worthy of further research. The notes and comments are based on my first hand observation and preliminary finds examination by specialists. Most parts of this section have slideshows and there will be a delay on the first image while the remaining images load.

Many of the original site plans were too big to be viewed in one scan so were divided into sections on the original DVD. Those scans have now been combined to be viewed complete.

Here is a copy of the Pitcalc Website. Pitcalc was a computer program and method which allowed quick planning of isolated features. The Website files also have details and photographs of some distinctive Lofts' archaeological discoveries. Please be aware that external website links within these files may no longer be active.
